Are face coverings required at ski resorts?

Yes. The good news is wearing a mask is nothing new for skiers/riders! In fact, face coverings like buffs are standard pieces of skiing and snowboarding gear. Some ski resorts require two-layer face coverings. To learn more, read the 2020/21 Winter Guide to Truckee-Tahoe Ski Resorts.

Can I take my face covering off inside?

No. The only time you can remove your face covering indoors is when actively eating, only if indoor dining is permitted.
