High West Professionals BNI is a thriving referral-based business networking group serving
professionals across Truckee, Reno, Incline Village, and the greater Tahoe region. As the only hybrid
BNI chapter in the area, we offer a modern and effective approach to networking—combining the
energy of in-person connection with the consistency and flexibility of weekly virtual meetings.
They meet in person on the first Tuesday of every month at The Lift Truckee, right by the Truckee
Airport. The rest of the month, they meet online via Zoom, allowing members to stay engaged, grow
their businesses, and stay plugged into a strong local network without missing a beat.
But this chapter isn’t just about referrals—it’s also about community. Many of their members are long-
time residents, small business owners, and professionals deeply connected to the Tahoe-Truckee
economy. They actively share insights on seasonal business patterns, local events, policy changes,
and community trends that affect how they operate and serve their customers. It’s a space where you’ll
find real-time, on-the-ground support that only a regional group like this can provide.
Whether it’s sharing best practices for winter operations, discussing the impact of tourism shifts, or
recommending trusted local partners, High West Professionals is more than a networking group—it’s
a true business resource hub for the Tahoe-Truckee region.
BNI (Business Network International) was founded in 1985 and is now the largest referral
networking organization in the world, with over 300,000 members in 70+ countries. Its core
philosophy, Givers Gain®, means that by helping others grow their businesses, your own business
will grow too.
Members meet weekly to share referrals, strengthen connections, and grow both professionally and
personally through a proven system.

meetings and monthly face-to-face connection.

They are currently at 15 members strong, representing a wide range of industries—local trades,
wellness professionals, business services, creative industries, and more. High West Professionals group is growing and open to new members who want to build their businesses through trust and referrals.

A long-time Truckee local and seasoned digital marketer, Trina specializes in Meta advertising,
social media strategy, and video content for businesses across the Tahoe region. As president of
High West Professionals, she brings energy, organization, and deep local knowledge to every
meeting.
Why I BNI: Relationships – BNI is how I stay connected across all types of local Truckee
Businesses. Being a solopreneur, I find the weekly meetings invaluable in keeping my finger on the
pulse of the Tahoe region.
