Town of Truckee representatives included Carissa Binkley, Economic Program Analyst, and @anna4truckee Anna Klovstad, Truckee Town Councilmember -- a longtime sustainability champion who has led impactful programs and co-founded the Truckee-Tahoe Climate Transformation Alliance.

Today is the day! At 2:00, talk show host, comedia

Today is the day! At 2:00, talk show host, comedian, actress and author Chelsea Handler will lead participants as they ski or snowboard down the slopes in swimsuits at @palisadesatolympicvalley as part of an attempt for the Guinness World Record for the Largest Swimsuit Ski Run, sponsored by Gold Bond. The event has received national news coverage.

Because of the snow and temperatures, the swimsuit ski has moved from the upper mountain to SnoVentures, making it easier for spectators to watch. Registration for the event is full/closed, but if you're at Palisades Tahoe, head over to witness the fun. There will also be a Gold Bond DJ playing after the hopefully world record ski run.
