Meet New Member: Painted Vine

January 21, 2026

The Truckee Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome Painted Vine to the Truckee Chamber. Principal/Artist Veronica Lichter of Painted Vine brings a fresh, creative offering to the Truckee-Tahoe business community through mobile, team-focused art experiences designed to spark connection and collaboration.

Painted Vine, a Truckee-Tahoe-based mobile art experience led by local artist Veronica Lichter, offers workplace teams a unique way to create together. Group sessions focus on expression over perfection, encouraging participants to relax, collaborate, and explore creativity in a fun, judgment-free setting.

“We guide people through a shared creative experience that’s less about making the ‘right’ painting and more about connecting in a new way,” says Lichter, known for her live painting, epic portraits, and mixed media work. “There’s something powerful about watching coworkers drop their titles and just enjoy creating together.”

Each Painted Vine session is fully mobile and can be hosted at offices, event venues, local restaurants, private homes, or breweries. All supplies, setup, and instruction are provided, and experiences are customized to reflect each group’s goals, company culture, or shared inspiration, often drawing from Tahoe’s natural landscapes.

Veronica Lichter began her artistic journey in pursuit of an “ideal” path, questioning whether fine art, illustration, or design would lead her forward. Over time, that search expanded into something deeper. She found herself chasing ideals not only in her work, but in who she was expected to be — as a woman, mother, partner, and citizen — and wondering which choices might lead to some version of perfection.

Eventually, Lichter recognized that what she was truly seeking was connection. Connection emerges when people slow down, reflect, and recognize themselves within a fast-moving world shaped by constant expectations. She believes this connection is difficult to access until we allow ourselves the freedom to simply be, whether or not that aligns with anyone else’s idea of what is “ideal.”

Art became her way of pausing and reconnecting — not with external standards, but with the present moment. Through her work, Lichter is committed to inviting others into the creative process and creating spaces where people can reconnect with their own lives. In this space, there are no ideals or expectations, only radical presence.

Painted Vine artist Matthew Osgood also lead sessions. A landscape painter and craftsman, Osgood says the creative process offers something teams rarely find in traditional off-sites or networking events. “It’s such a different lens for connection. You see people encouraging each other, laughing, and finding inspiration in each other’s interpretations. It builds trust and a sense of community that carries back into the workplace.”

Ideal for corporate retreats, holiday parties, leadership summits, and networking events, Painted Vine sessions are designed for all skill levels. Participants often leave surprised by both what they’ve created and what they’ve learned about their colleagues. “We always hear, ‘I can’t believe I painted that!’ or ‘Our paintings are all so unique,’” Lichter says. “Those moments are what make these events so rewarding.”

Painted Vine also offers gift certificates and private bookings for businesses looking to bring more intention and connection to their celebrations. Learn more at https://painted-vine.com/our-services.
