FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 2024 COMMUNITY ARTS CENTER 5:30 PM – 6:15 PM Free
Join us for your place in history for a group photo commemorating the return of the Truckee Winter Carnival.
Truckee in 1895 was a rough and tumble town with a plethora of saloons, logging and ice men, respectable women and the not so respectable men and women. Truckee has worked hard to preserve its identity as a historic mountain town. Be a part of a walk back to that era.
Come dressed in anything that reminds you of something of Truckee historical looks. Hats, vests, coats, dresses and other items will help to make this historic photo one to remember. Come join us for the free family fun! The older the costume look, the closer to the front of the photo you can to be.
