Martis Fund Homebuyer Assistance Program
Established in 2006, the Fund supports programs to conserve open space; manage and restore habitat and forest lands, and promote opportunities for workforce housing and related community purposes in the Martis Valley Region.
Placer County First Time Homebuyer Assistance Program
Loans of up to $100,000 are available to help families purchase their first home in the unincorporated areas of Placer County.

Truckee River CoHousing is a group of local families designing a vibrant cohousing neighborhood within the West River Village, featuring private homes, community space, river access, trails, and all that our mountain landscape has to offer. An engaged group of people of diverse ages and financial backgrounds who love the community of Truckee, they currently have about 15 families and singles who are seeking to build 35-40 homes with about 70-90 people. The site is on the north side of the Truckee River, just 1/2 mile from downtown Truckee at 10925 West River Street.
