Pika Outdoor Pursuits came together as a result of like-minded outdoors types who believe that as our lands continue to be leveraged for their beauty and their positive contribution to our well-being, our accountability to their preservation grows ever more essential. As a symbol of their core values to protect the wild places they travel, they took their name from the American Pika, a hearty, alpine-dwelling cousin of the rabbit that embodies the essence of the outdoor community’s scrappy endurance. Pika believes that we all share our wilderness and it’s our responsibility to lend a hand in maintaining it.
Pika offers Day Hikes, Backpacking, and Basecamp Adventures, including set dates for group packages or you can inquire about private reservations.
Basecamps
Basecamp trips with Pika Odysseys are all about taking out the hassles of DIY-adventure vacations. They handle the gear, the food, and the fun. You just bring shoes that look good when dirty.
They leverage the beautiful, national park-worthy surroundings of Lake Tahoe and the Northern Sierra Nevada. Their trips entail an array of custom adventures beyond what they plan for you.
