Truckee Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome new member Truckee Antiques & Vintage Show. As many local patrons and “old-timers” may recall, the Boosters Benefit Antiques & Vintage Show was held annually at Truckee High School starting in 1974, benefitting the Truckee High Wolverines. Between 2016 and 2019, the show was temporarily relocated to Alder Creek Middle School due to extensive renovations at Truckee High. Although changes in a venue usually don’t work for this type of event, their loyal patrons attended the show at Alder Creek and kept up the momentum! Sadly, with the Covid-19 pandemic and shutdowns, they were not able to hold this important annual event for the past three years. With renovations complete at Truckee High, Truckee Antiques & Vintage Sale is delighted to once again return to its original venue. With the support of local and regional patrons and businesses, they look forward to an exciting return to Truckee High July 22-24 for what is sure to be a successful event.
The 48th Annual Truckee Antique & Vintage Sale will feature thousands of quality antiques and unique collectibles. Known by loyal antique enthusiasts as the largest, finest show in the Cal-Neva area, shoppers will discover a wide variety of merchandise, including rare slot machines and gambling-related items; Western Americana; American Indian and Native American art; American and European furniture and furnishings; tools, military and sporting; lighting fixtures; kitchen and country primitives; Victorian and American art glass and art pottery; sterling silver and silverplate flatware and holloware; estate and costume jewelry; fine porcelains and china; toys and dolls; linens and textiles; paper collectibles (including prints, maps, magazines, and books) and refurbished and upscaled.
Originally founded in 1974 by the Truckee Wolverine Boosters Club, the show continues to raise money for Truckee High School’s scholarship, and academic and sports programs. For the past fifteen years, this show has been promoted by Twin Bridges Antique Productions, promoters of quality antiques shows throughout California and Southern Oregon since 1982. As Antique Show Coordinator, Carole Berry of Twin Bridges Antique Productions is honored to keep this important tradition going as a benefit for the Truckee High Boosters.
