Michael Lefrancois, the driving force behind Lefrancois Engineering, is deeply intertwined with the fabric of the Tahoe/Truckee region. Having relocated to the area in 1999, drawn by the allure of the snow-packed mountains out west, he swiftly acclimated to the vibrant culture and breathtaking vistas of the Tahoe Basin. Initially residing with friends in Truckee and working as a parking attendant at Alpine Meadows, Michael’s journey toward becoming a seasoned civil engineer was marked by a profound connection to the region’s landscape and community. As he transitioned into his career, he found his home within the region, establishing roots in Truckee, then Kings Beach, and finally settling in Incline Village with his wife and two children.

At his core, Michael is a devoted family man, instilling in his children a passion for the outdoors that mirrors his own. Beyond his professional pursuits, Michael’s adventurous spirit is evident in his diverse interests, from telemark skiing and Nordic Search and Rescue to paddleboarding, mountain biking, and kiteboarding on the serene waters of Lake Tahoe during winter. Through his deep-seated love for the Tahoe basin and unwavering commitment to his family and community, Michael embodies the essence of a true Tahoe local, seamlessly blending work, play, and purpose amidst the breathtaking backdrop of the Sierra Nevada.
