The Truckee Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Event is happening on September 24, 2021! This fun, casual event will be held outdoors, so there’s plenty of room to spread out. We’ll have live music, food, drink, and awards to give out in six categories: Resiliency, Entrepreneurship, Innovator, Creative, Rising Star, and Stewardship.
Times are challenging. Yesterday… all our troubles seemed so far away… now it looks as though they’re here to stay. No need to gently weep, because we’ll get by with a little help from our friends. We can work it out; all you need is love.
The Old Fashioned Bar – Zoe Richards is a Truckee native and owner of The Old Fashioned Bar. Zoe has spent the past decade working in the event industry and is now an entrepreneur with her 1964 Go-lite trailer, fully restored and now a vintage mobile bar. Zoe is a creative mixologist and will have two special “signature” cocktails available, as well as beer, wine, and soft drinks for sale.
Food by The Board – Jill Akers is another Truckee native and owner of The Board, specializing in curated custom, bold, delectable charcuterie boards. Each guest will receive their own, personal boxed appetizers made special for the event.
Live music by The Band Apothic – Performing a unique blend of powerful vocal harmonies and instrumental arrangements, Apothic features singing and songwriting of original songs and cover music with an emphasis on powerful vocals. Feel-good music you can’t miss!
Awards Presentation – The Chamber will recognize individuals, businesses, and organizations that work tirelessly all year long to make our economy strong, provide jobs for our community, develop innovative solutions through partnerships and collaborations, and create Truckee’s unique mountain culture.
