TNT Tech Teens

 Equipping Future Workforce Through a Hands-on Tech Immersion Program

The Town of Truckee, Tahoe Truckee Unified School District, Truckee Donner Public Utility District, Tahoe Forest Health System, Tahoe Truckee Airport District, and the Truckee Chamber of Commerce present Truckee North Tahoe Tech Teens (TNT Tech Teens)—a workforce initiative that spotlights the wide range of tech-powered careers in our region.

About the program
TNT Tech Teens is a multi-week, hands-on series for local high school students. Participants visit key sites, meet professionals, and explore real technologies in action—from airport operations and medical robotics to public safety tools and cybersecurity. The program culminates in a career-building workshop focused on resumes, interviews, and next steps. Students who complete the series receive a certificate of completion.

Who can apply
Open to 9th–12th grade students living in Truckee and North Lake Tahoe.

Applications open annually in January.
