Truckee Welcome Center

The Truckee Chamber of Commerce manages and operates the Truckee Welcome Center in Historic Downtown Truckee. In addition to helping more than 225,000 visitors every year, the concierges are there to help residents learn more about their community and “ask a local” questions.

The Truckee Welcome Center is located in the old Train Depot, which also serves as the transportation hub for Truckee, serving Amtrak trains and buses, Greyhound buses, and local transportation. Creative wall displays tell fun facts about Truckee’s colorful history. A small retail store provides local Truckee apparel, toys, and trinkets.

The Truckee Welcome Center is operated in partnership with the Town of Truckee. The Truckee Welcome Center serves as your personal travel concierge to assist you in all aspects of your Truckee-Tahoe trip, with plenty of local, regional, and statewide information.
