Join the Truckee Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 7:00 a.m. to meet some of Truckee’s new community leaders, including Sven Leff, Truckee-Donner Recreation and Park District’s new General Manager, new Truckee Chief of Police, Danny Renfrow, Robb Etnyre, General Manager of Tahoe Truckee Airport District, and Richard Pallante, new General Manager of Tahoe-Truckee Sanitation Agency. Hear about their backgrounds and vision for their organizations.
The Truckee Chamber is excited to announce that Good Morning Truckee is back as a LIVE in-person event. Good Morning Truckee is held at Truckee Town Hall upstairs in the Council Chambers. All sessions will be recorded and available for viewing at a later date.
Good Morning Truckee is a community forum to provide timely, relevant information on a variety of topics. It is open to the public – everyone is invited free of charge. It is held the third Tuesday of every month in-person or virtually from 7:00-8:30 am. The meeting begins with introductions around the room. The meeting ends with short announcements from those in attendance- events or information of interest to the community. Announcements should be about one minute and no longer than two minutes.
Good Morning Truckee is open to the public – everyone is invited. It is held the third Tuesday of every month at Truckee Town Hall from 7:00-8:30 am. Ticket price for the general public is $12; Truckee Chamber members $10 and includes a continental breakfast and raffle ticket. Anyone who brings their own traveler coffee mug will receive an additional raffle ticket and a chance to win great prizes.
These events are a great way to meet other community members. Whether you are new or have lived here for years, hearing from our leaders in the community is an enjoyable way to stay on top of important issues, connect and engage. One of the great things about living in a small community like Truckee is that you can personally know your leaders and work with them to make a difference.
