The November 9th Good Morning Truckee presenters focused on the upcoming winter and the ski industry, one of our region’s largest economic drivers.

Deirdra Walsh, Vice President and General Manager of Northstar California; Dee Bryne, President/COO of Palisades Tahoe; and Greg Dallas, President and CEO of Sugar Bowl Resort | Royal Gorge Cross Country presented.

Homewood Mountain Resort Update:

  • Scheduled opening date: December 10, weather and conditions permitting

Tahoe Donner Cross Country and Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort Update:

  • Group and private lessons plus adult and kid programs return in full this winter to Tahoe Donner at Tahoe Donner Cross Country and the Downhill Ski Resort. Lean more.
  • Scheduled opening dates: November 26 for TDXC and December 10 for the Tahoe Donner Downhill, conditions permitting.
  • Season passes are on sale for both resorts. Prices go up Dec. 1. Learn more.

Good Morning Truckee is a community forum to provide timely, relevant information on a variety of topics. It is open to the public – everyone is invited free of charge. It is held the second Tuesday of every month virtually from 7:30-8:30am.
